Located in Sérignan, on the Mediterranean coast near Béziers, the Musée régional d’art contemporain is a major artistic and tourist attraction in the Languedoc region.
The museum’s 3,200 sq. m. of exhibition space features temporary exhibitions and a permanent collection. It also makes strong artistic choices, supports French and international artists and invents new ways of bringing art to the public.
The exhibition rooms are spacious and bathed in natural light.
Dressed by Daniel Buren, with the work “Rotation” which encircles the entire museum with colours on all the glazed areas, creating visual effects both inside and out.
In this bright, friendly atmosphere, visitors can enjoy a rich and varied tour of the various areas: a graphic arts cabinet, exhibition spaces and a bookshop-boutique offering a wide selection of exhibition catalogues, artists’ books and original editions.
